We’re proud to unveil Ballard FC’s new home kit, “The Vintage Kit.”
Our club may only be three and a half years old but we represent a community filled with history and nostalgia that is celebrated through this timeless kit. Inspired by classic vintage pinstripe jerseys of the past with our own spin on the classic design.
Given the theme of the kit, it only made sense to shoot the kit inside of some of Ballard’s most classic venues: Ballard Consignment and the Ballard Smoke Shop.
“We wanted to highlight ‘Vintage Ballard’ and these businesses are hallmarks of the Ballard community that were the perfect backdrop for the kit’s design. We wanted this kit to feel timeless, like you’re walking down Ballard Ave in the 80s and could pluck it off the rack or spot someone rocking it at the Smoke Shop over a pint. While Ballard FC is only a few years old, this community has history that we wanted to celebrate and preserve through the Vintage Kit” – Sam Zisette, Co-Founder and President
We’re grateful for the partners who appear on this kit. Our title sponsor Wombi features prominently on the front, with Reuben’s Brews and UW Medicine completing the kit on the sleeve and back respectively. More than just logos, these are partners who believe in what the organization is building right here in Ballard.
Fans can order the Vintage Kit online or shop in-person at the Ballard FC Warehouse (1149 NW 52nd St) this Saturday, April 5th from 1-5 PM.
