After a big six point weekend Ballard FC will take a quick trip east to Bellevue College, squaring off against Midlakes United this Thursday, May 29th at 7:00 PM.

Midlakes United

Midlakes United currently sit 8th in the Northwest Division after one point in two matches. Their most recent match was a 2-2 draw against the Tacoma Stars. The goals were scored by Seattle University’s Alex Notzka and Gonzaga’s Alexander Bazia. After giving up a goal in both of the last two matches, the Ballard backline will look to keep the pair of Alex’s in check and keep on clean sheet on Thursday.
This year, both rosters feature players who previously played for the other club. Zach Ramsey and Nii Engmann were both part of the 2024 Midlakes roster. While Midlakes United striker, Francisco Magana, was part of the inaugural Ballard FC roster in 2022. Additionally former Ballard FC merch intern, Sybren Russell, is now an assistant coach for Midlakes.
Last season, Ballard FC defeated Midlakes in both matches. The Ballard FC Home Opener was a 4-1 victory over Midlakes with goals scored by returners Joe Dale and Ray Mendez, as well as pair of goals from Taketo Onodera. the lone Midlakes goal was scored by N. Engmann. Then in Bellevue, Ballard FC won 2-1 with goals from Richie Aman and Charlie Gaffney.
This Thursday, the visitors will look to keep their perfect record against Midlakes intact and return home with another victory.
