After a narrow 2-1 victory over FC Olympia on Sunday, Ballard FC will look to stay perfect as they hit the road again to play the Tacoma Stars on Wednesday night.

This Wednesday, Ballard FC will be the nightcap of an away doubleheader as they take on the Stars at 7pm after Salmon Bay FC plays the Tacoma Galaxy at 4pm. For fans looking to make the trip, tickets can be purchased on the Tacoma Stars website. For those who can’t make the match, fans can watch the match live from Stoup Brewing, or stream live on SportsEngine Play.
Last time Ballard FC played at Tacoma, they broke a club-record for goals scored in a single-match with a resounding 11-0 win over the Stars. The Ballard boys will be looking to do more of the same on Wednesday night and return home with another big win.
Tacoma Stars

The Tacoma Stars entered USL League Two in 2024 at the same time as Midlakes United and West Seattle Junction FC. The Stars have long existed as professional indoor soccer team competing in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL).
The Stars have and up and down two season in league two so far. In 2024, the Stars actually went undefeated against Ballard FC with a win and a draw against the eventual division winners. But then in 2025 the Stars were one of the worst teams in the division, struggling to string together results and keep the ball out of the back of the net.
So far in 2026 the Stars are sitting mid-table with four points after five matches. After a rough 4-0 loss to the Junction in their season opener, the Stars have been very competitive in every match with a pair of one goal defeats to the division-leading Portland Bangers, a draw on the road against Midlake United, and a 4-1 win over FC Olympia.
The Tacoma Stars roster is highlighted by two Ballard FC alumni, Khai Brisco and Cale Spence, who both play for the club’s MASL team. After making it to the final of the TST (The Soccer Tournament) 7v7 Mixed Tournament in Cary, North Carolina, Brisco will be back with the Stars for the rest of the summer.
Following this match, Ballard FC will return home on Saturday, June 6th for the nightcap of a double header as Ballard FC and Salmon Bay FC host the Portland Bangers and Portland Cherry Bombs.
