The night before USA hosts Australia at Seattle Stadium for the World Cup, Ballard FC welcomes the world to USL League Two soccer at Interbay Stadium.
With the Aussies in Seattle for the Group B top of the table clash downtown, Interbay Stadium is going “down under” (at least metaphorically) on Thursday night with a match themed around the World Cup and specifically our Australian visitors. In addition to USA v. Australia Night, Thursday’s match is “singles night” as all 21+ singles get $1 off beers in the Beer Garden.
The match itself is the first battle between Ballard FC and Bigfoot FC this season. Last year it was the “Mr. Ballard” show as Joe Dale scored three goals over the span of two matches and Ballard FC won two early season matches against their opponents from Maple Valley.
Now let’s preview this year’s matchup.
Bigfoot FC

Bigfoot FC joined USL 2 in 2025 at the same time as Snohomish United and the Portland Bangers. The club is based in Maple Valley, Washington and is owned by West Coast Goalkeeping, a popular soccer brand specializing in goalie gloves.
So far the club has had a rough start to the 2026 season, sitting at the bottom of the division table and yet to record their first win. However Bigfoot did pick up points in their most recent match with a 1-1 draw at home against FC Olympia.
The Bigfoot attack is led by Jaggar Judkins and Chase Potter who each have a pair of goals this season. Potter is a midfielder at Gonzaga University and Judkins is a forward at the University of San Francisco and together they could create some danger for the Ballard backline.
Ballard FC will be looking to get their third straight win against Bigfoot FC and put the pressure on Snohomish United at the top of the table.
