Ballard FC will take on the newly-formed West Seattle Junction FC at 7:00 PM this Saturday night. Come join us for a local clash between two undefeated sides as well as a night of live music and community celebration at Memorial Stadium.

Ballard FC will look to remain atop of the division standings with another win this Saturday, and they are coming in hot. In their last two matches, the club has scored eight goals and only allowed one. The home side will look to keep this momentum going and hand the Junction their first defeat.

The Opponent
West Seattle Junction FC are one of three new teams in the USL2 Northwest Division, joining Midlakes United and the Tacoma Stars. After a win and two draws to being their 2024 campaign, it is time for the Junction’s first road test just minutes away at Memorial Stadium.
West Seattle’s roster is headlined by one of their assistant coaches, Seattle Sounders legend Roman Torres. On the pitch, the Junction roster includes three former Ballard FC players: goalkeeper Jadon Bowton, and forwards Bryan de la Rosa and Joey Van Horn. Alongside this trio, University of Washington center back Mani Diop has been a stalwart for West Seattle. With Diop in defense the Junction have allowed only one goal per match, and Diop has also helped the attack by scoring a goal of his own.
Like Ballard FC, the Junction roster includes lots of local collegiate talent with six players from the University of Washington, three from Seattle Pacific University, one from Seattle University, and another from University of Puget Sound. Saturday’s match will be a great display of local soccer talent between two undefeated teams as they face off in the “Battle for Seattle.”
