On Tuesday evening, Ballard FC and Salmon Bay FC will hit the road for an away double header in Tacoma. Ballard FC will kick off at 4pm followed by Salmon Bay FC at 7pm.

After three straight draws, Ballard FC will be looking to get back to winning ways on Tuesday evening. After drawing 1-1 in a top 10 battle with Snohomish United, Ballard FC followed that up with two straight scoreless draws at home against Lane United and West Seattle Junction.
Bellarmine Prep is just under an hour from Interbay Stadium and so some fans many see it as a potential away day. If you are planning to travel, tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth.
Despite the three match winless streak, Ballard FC remain top of the division table and are the only undefeated team in the northwest division. Now, let’s meet Tuesday’s hosts.
Tacoma Stars
The Tacoma Stars currently sit in eight place on the division table with five points from six matches. Despite their poor start to the season, Ballard FC will have been eyeing this match since the schedule came out in February. The Tacoma Stars are the only team in all of USL 2 that has a winning record against Ballard, and the visitors will be looking to change that on Tuesday.
The Tacoma Stars roster has a strong contingent of players from their MASL (Major Arena Soccer League) team, making them one of the older and more experienced sides in the division. Last time these two clubs met at Bellarmine Prep, it was a 2-2 draw as Christian Engmann scored a last second equalizer. After scoring just once in their past three matches, Ballard FC would love to score two on Tuesday alongside a third consecutive clean sheet.
If you cannot make it to the match, you can watch the live stream or watch live at the Reuben’s Brews Ballard Taproom.
What’s next?
Ballard FC stays on the road as they travel to Eugene to take on Lane United on Friday, June 27th. Then, they will return home for another Tacoma battle as they host the Stars on Wednesday, June 2nd at 7pm.
